Maurizio Feliziani has had an affinity for decorative arts since his youth, developing as an artisan with a passion for the decorative arts and, in particular, the craft of stucco.
He attended the Tuscia
Art High School in Viterbo and gained hands-on experience as a decorator on construction sites while also participating in various specialization courses in the decorative field.
In 1996, he encountered and studied at the “European Center for the Conservation of Artistic
Heritage” in Venice, where he began his in-depth training in the techniques of scagliola and stucco marmo. His subsequent collaborations with masters from the “European Center” in Italy and abroad led him to establish his own business, opening a showroom on Via dei Coronari in the historic center of Rome, and to execute numerous commissions.
He has also gained teaching experience, instructing scagliola techniques at the prestigious "Central Institute for Restoration" in Rome. Recently, he held a training session as an expert for students in the Restoration and Construction section of the Faculty of Architecture at Roma Tre University.
For several years now, he has formed and trained a specialized team of excellence with whom he has completed prestigious projects around the world, from the United States to Australia and Africa, establishing himself as an international leader in the field of scagliola and stucco marmo.
He is currently the owner of Scagliole & Stucchi d’Arte of Maurizio Feliziani, based in Italy.

has carried out scagliola restoration projects at the Louvre in Paris, the Quirinal Palace in Rome for scagliola floors in the Coffee House and the Chapel of Pius IX, at two synagogues in New York, in the Casino Nobile of Villa Torlonia in Rome, at the Primus Hotel in Pitt Street Sydney, and at the S. John Baptist Cathedral in Romania.
All these historical buildings are under the protection of localsuperintendencies.
Since 1989, Scagliole e Stucchi d’Arte by Maurizio Feliziani has been an international reference
point for architects and superintendencies regarding this technique.
